Children
Cut down by
Corporate schools
Abused by
The grown-ups
Thrown out
Into gutters
Rat races
wars
On to streets
Railway platforms
Off the schools

Can we regain
Innocence lost?
Dreams broken?
Promises forgotten?
Humanity evaporated?

TOMORROW

Time flies lies
Lies rule the world
wars ravage life
Oil dictates democracy
Democrats rise oil prices
if folks boil with anger
they flow into streets
which become live
stones tell tales
concealed by laws
walls of apathy fall
All stand up to salute
tomorrow.
